In the third quarter of 2024, the fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on iOS demonstrated varying trends across Latin America. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides valuable insights into the weekly downloads and active user metrics for the top-performing apps in this sector.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery showed a dynamic pattern in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with roughly 98K downloads and peaking at 121K in the week of August 19. Despite this peak, there was a noticeable decline towards the end of the quarter, with downloads settling around 88K. The app's weekly active users experienced a slight decrease over the quarter, from approximately 708K at the start to around 713K by the end.

Burger King Brasil experienced a more gradual decline in weekly downloads, beginning with about 42K and dropping to 29K by the end of September. Its weekly active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining around 158K at the beginning and closing the quarter at approximately 162K.

Starbucks México saw a significant spike in downloads during the week of September 2, reaching 24K, before stabilizing to around 13K by the end of the quarter. Active users for Starbucks México increased notably to 217K in early September, before finishing the quarter at 190K.

Domino's Pizza México maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, starting at 11K and rising slightly to 14K by the end. The active user count saw a steady increase, beginning at 46K and reaching 51K by the end of September.

Lastly, Habib's downloads started at 12K, followed by a decrease to 10K mid-quarter, and a subsequent rise back to 10K. The active user base remained relatively stable, beginning and ending the quarter with approximately 38K users.
